How much does a website cost?
Websites are $100 a year, and the price you sign up at is locked in for as long as you keep your plan, with no increases. That covers designing and building your website, your domain name, hosting, SEO setup, backups, and unlimited updates and new features. Bigger projects are quoted up front, and nothing outside the plan is ever charged without your written OK. The price includes Maryland sales tax. The $100 price is a limited-time promotion.
How fast will my changes be made?
Updates such as new text, photos, hours, or prices are guaranteed within 24 hours. New features such as a new page or form are guaranteed within 2 to 3 days. Both count every day of the week, including weekends and holidays, and most are done much sooner. The guarantee is written into your agreement.
Do I own my website and domain name?
Yes. Your domain name is registered in your name, and you own the finished website and everything you provide for it. If you ever leave, we hand over your domain and a copy of your website files, as described in the agreement.
What domain name will I get?
One standard domain name for your business, registered in your name, as long as it's available. Most businesses get a .com, and endings like .net, .org, .biz, or .us work too. The plan covers a name at a normal registration price (up to $25 a year), so it doesn't include premium domain names or pricier endings like .ai, and we don't bid on or buy names someone else already owns, such as names held by domain squatters or resellers. If your first choice is taken, we'll help you find a close alternative, like a different spelling or ending.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. The plan is paid one year at a time. You can turn off automatic renewal any time with one click, and if you cancel within 14 days of your first payment you get a full refund. After that, the year you paid for isn't refunded, but your website stays online through the end of it.
Will my website show up on Google?
Every site is built for search: fast on phones, with page titles and descriptions, a sitemap, and business details in a format search engines read, and we submit it to Google and Bing. No one can honestly guarantee a number one ranking, so we don't.
Can you redo my current website?
Yes. We can rebuild an outdated website, or move you off a do-it-yourself builder like Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy, and keep the domain name your customers already know.
What is not included?
Paid third-party services you choose, such as booking software or Google Workspace email, payment processing fees, paid advertising, printing, and photo shoots. We always tell you before anything would cost extra.
Do you meet in person?
Yes. We're local, in Fruitland just outside Salisbury, and happy to meet at your business. We can also do everything by phone, text, and email.
